VIAGGIO DI GRUPPO IN BIRMANIA - Il nostro programma classico è di 9 notti 10 giorni con i prezzi che variano a seconda del numero di persone del gruppo. Questo programma si puo' modificare a seconda delle esigenze e del budget. Abbiamo gli alberghi buoni di 4 stelle. Ovviamente se volete  alberghi un po' meno di lusso, i costi scenderanno ancora. Ci sono indicati due prezzi;  mezza pensione e pensione completa.

Per favore, notate che i prezzi sono in dollari perche' come ti ricorderai bene, in Birmania, si usano di piu' i  dollari e quindi in Euro, sono piu' bassi. Anche se adesso anche l'euro si puo' usare tranquillamente, facciamo ancora i conti in base a dollaro americano. Quando i clienti pagano il viaggio, possono pagare in euro

Noi abbiamo 8 tipi di programma in generale secondo il numero dei giorni  Yangon – Bagan   Mandalay – Heho (Inle)- Yangon

il programma è in inglese ma potete chiedercelo in italiano. Il volo è a carico vostro o possiamo cercarvelo noi (circa 900 euro)

Day 01 Arrival Yangon                                         

Welcome to the Garden City Yangon.

Arrive Yangon airport (morning or evening). Meet and transfer to Hotel. If time permit: late afternoon, we will visit the Chaukhtatgyi - the colossal reclining Buddha; the Shwedagon Pagoda – an inspiring golden stupa and view the sunset from there.

Overnight at Yangon.

 

Day 02 Yangon – Bagan (by morning flight) – Bagan full day sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Bagan (ETD: 06:30/ ETA: 07:50). Arrive Bagan and check in at the hotel. Bagan, one of Asia’s most popular archaeological destinations and one out of two most pre-eminent religious old cities in South East Asia. The sightseeing starts with a visit to Nyaung Oo market – a typical local market; followed by visits to most distinctive pagodas such as Shwezigon Pagoda – the holiest one believed to be enshrined with Buddha tooth and hair ; Anada Temple  one of the masterpieces surviving and remaining in Bagan and considered to be in the Mon architecture style.

A visit to the lacquer ware factory followed by a visit to local village.

Overnight Bagan.

Day 03 Bagan full day sightseeing (by horse-cart or bike)

Breakfast at the hotel. The second day sightseeing at Asia’s best kept archaeological destination includes a visit to Dhamayangyi Temple – the most massive and significant monument in Bagan with finest mortar-less brickwork; Sulamani Temple – close to the Dhamayangyi temple with more sophisticated style of later Bagan temple; another Gubyaukgyi Temple at Myinkaba village – believed to be built for Rajakumar on the death of his father, King Kyansitta, and famous nowadays for its well preserved wall paintings; Manuha Temple – built by detained Mon King Manuha; Ngagayon Temple – similar to the plan of Anada Temple and the main attraction is that the twice life size Buddha Image shelters under the hood of the naga or serpent inside the temple. We will view the sunset from the top of one of the temples. 

Overnight Bagan.

 

Day 04 Bagan-Mandalay by morning flight – Mandalay full day sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Mandalay (ETD: 08:05/ ETA: 08:35). Arrive Mandalay and check in Hotel. Sightseeing at Mandalay, the last capital of Myanmar kingdom, includes Mahamuni Buddha Image – believed to be cast in bronze in front of Buddha himself and nowadays gilded with thick gold leaf; gold leaf hammering, marble carving, and tapestry making.

Afternoon sightseeing includes Shwenandaw monastery, still existing masterpiece of last Myanmar kingdom’s architecture in teak and wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda, renowned as the world’s largest book; and Mandalay Hill, regarded a natural watch tower in the plain region of Mandalay, to view the sunset.

Day 05 Amarapura & Mingun sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. From the Mandalay Gawwein jetty, we would take a short boat ride up river to reach Mingun, located at the other side of the Ayeyarwaddy river and north of Mandalay. The boat ride is always pleasant as one can learn the ways of local life along the river. Sightseeing highlights includes Pathodawgyi – believed to be one of the largest brick base in the world and it would be one of the wonders of the world in case if it was completed; Mingun bell – said to be world’s biggest un-cracked and ringing bell and Myatheindan pagoda represents for Buddhist cosmology.  Return to Mandalay.

Drive to Amarapura, former Royal capital of Myanmar but the suburb of Mandalay nowadays. Highlights include Mahargandaryone monastery, a typical monastic school; U Bein bridge, the world’s longest teak wood bridge across the Taungthaman lake, an ideal place to view the sunset also; and silk weaving factory.

Day 06 Mandalay (Ava, Sagaing) sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Sagaing, a former capital of Shan Kingdom and Myanmar Kingdom. Sagaing nowadays is renowned as the religious center of Myanmar because of over 400 monasteries spreading throughout the hillocks. After crossing the Inwa bridge (also called Sagaing Bridge), one can visit the Sagaing hill by trucks. The highlights include Soonooponyashin Pagoda, Uminthonese Pagoda, a thirty man made caves pagoda. Other highlights include silver smith and Kaunghmudaw pagoda – the gigantic stupa represent paddy heap. Drive back to Mandalay.

Afternoon, Ava sightseeing includes: Shwezigon Pagoda, Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery (or) Mae Nu Oke Kyaung, Nanmyint Hmyawzin (Nanmyint Watch Tower).

Overnight at Mandalay.

 

Day 07 Mandalay to Heho (by morning flight)- Pindaya sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. Fly to Heho (ETD: 08:50/ ETA: 09:20). Upon arrival, proceed to Pindaya. Pindaya is a historic town situated about three hours drive from Inle Lake. The sightseeing highlights include: Pindaya caves – natural lime stone caves not only with numerous stalactites and stalagmites but also filled with about 8000 various sizes of Buddha images believed to be there since 11th century; and famous Botoloke Lake. Ethnic groups like Shan, PaO and Danu are living environs of Pindaya. The place nowadays is also famous for traditional Shan paper making and Shan umbrella making. After sightseeing in Pindaya, drive to Nyaung Shwe jetty and transfer to Hotel. Arrive Inle Lake and check in Hotel.

Day 08 Inle sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel and sightseeing in Inle Lake, one of the magical lakes in Myanmar located 900 meters above sea level surrounded by beautiful mountains of Shan plateau, is the home land of the Inthar tribe. If by chance today coincides with the market day, we will visit the regional market which is held on a 5 days rotation basis in different areas of the Lake. We will visit Phaungdawoo Pagoda – famous for its richly gilded five small Buddha images; Ngaphechaung monastery (also known as jumping cat monastery) was built more than one and a half century ago and features a number of interesting old Buddha Images. Other attractions include: unique leg-rowing style and fishing method of the Inthar, floating gardens used as vegetable plantations, silk and cotton weaving cottages and black smith.

Overnight at Inle Lake.

 

Day 09  Inle + Indein sightseeing – Heho – Yangon by evening flight

Breakfast at the hotel. We explore the southern part of the Lake by boat sailing through small twisting and turning creeks to reach Indein village. This small village located on the southwestern bank of the lake is famous for its ruined clusters of pagodas dated back to 16th century. The tranquil peaceful ambience and the ruins overgrown with bushes will bring you centuries back. Afternoon, transfer to Nyaung Shwe jetty and drive to Heho airport. Fly to Yangon (ETD: 15:30/ ETA: 18:15). Arrive Yangon and check in Hotel.

Overnight at Yangon.

 

Day 10  Yangon Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Leisure at the hotel till departure time. Transfer to the airport for the departure flight. Depart Yangon.
